Reclaimed wood floating frame - 2" deep - PLEASE NOTE: we currently have ALDER and MAPLE in stock
A local craftsman, Peter, has sourced sustainable reclaimed wood with the most stunning imperfections. Each frame MAY include some or all of its exotic features - knots, burrow holes, varied grain and live edge. This frame is a piece of art itself. As you can see in the group photo below, every frame is unique. The wood is hand waxed giving it a satin finish that feels like velvet while retaining the wood’s natural colour. They are “made to order” so that the frame fits each painting or print PERFECTLY, therefore it will take an additional 4 days to build the frame, install the art and ship to you.
We have a rotating variety of wood that becomes available, primarily maple and alder and sometimes arbutus and walnut. You are welcome to choose your preference and Ronei will be in contact to advise if it is in stock at the time..
When purchasing your frame size, choose the same HxW dimensions as the art you purchased. If you don’t see your frame size listed, I’m happy to send you a quote for a custom size, simply email me.
